Mark your calendars now for Saturday, June 28, 2014 for another day of vintage bicycle fun at the International Velodrome at Bloomer Park in Rochester Hills, MI.

Americane Show action in the velodrome infield
Details are being worked on now but count on a similar flow of events as 2013. We’ll have the swap meeting in the morning starting bright and early (8:30 am) in the parking lot of Bloomer Park followed by a lunch break and then the Americane Vintage Bike Show where your vintage classic track and road bikes will be on display and judged by your peers.
Tentative Schedule:
8:00 AM: Park opens
8:00 AM: Swap setup begins
8:30 AM: Swap meet officially begins
10:00 AM: Velodrome opens & “Track 101” class starts. Mandatory for beginners, or as a refresher class for those who haven’t recently ridden a steep-banked track. Depending on turnout, this class may be repeated. Loaner bikes are available at no cost. Bring your own SPD shoes or clipped pedals and shoes if you want to go vintage.

A lovely Frejus in the show complete with pennant.
12:00 PM: Americane’ Vintage Bike Show setup
1:00 PM: Show bikes should be in place and tagged – judging begins
3:00 PM: Americane’ Awards presentation
4:00PM: Vintage track riding & events (by availability and skill of participants)
Show categories:
